ABOUT the Author

Bernard Hardy, is an author, music artist, professional IT Infrastructure Engineer, and most importantly a father to a beautiful daughter. He was born and raised in New Jersey to an African American mother, who was a pianist and US Navy father of Antiguan/English descent. He’s a mentor and observer of cause and effect and grew up watching the results of decisions he and his friends made that ultimately impacted their lives. He has always made an effort to continuously self improve and motivate himself. Given the opportunity to help share his IT experience with students at a local middle school, he created the GOTiHe Collection, which combines Books, Music and Educational Games focused on being the best versions of ourselves.

GOTiHe: "An Inter-dimensional epic focusing on a protagonist & antagonist at 3 stages in their lives. (Child, Adult and Elder) The story is about how each character is shaped starting in the school yard."

BigNard Bernard!

BigNard Bernard is a rap and hip hop artist from Hackensack, NJ, with a diverse sound representing multiple cultures and musical styles. His nickname BigNard was given to him while he was growing up and it has stuck with him ever since.

He started writing music when he was 14 years old, rapping just for fun, until he was approached by a friend who asked him to make a song. Finding inspiration from some of his favorite rappers including Big Daddy Kane, Cool G Rap, and Kool Moe Dee, BigNard Bernard was able to elevate his lyric writing and song crafting ability to a whole new level.

Fans of BigNard Bernard have compared the positivity in his music to artists like Nas, Common, and Talib Kweli, just to name a few. His current single "Believe 2 Achieve" was written as a motivational song during intense training for his first marathon.

The next track to be released is titled "ProTest 2020," inspired by the racial climate in 2020. BigNard realized some people don't actually understand racism and confuse it with prejudice. This will be an important song with the power to shine light on a serious issue and inspire us all to unite as humans.

He's looking forward to the release of several lyric videos and a new book he's in the process of writing called the GOTiHe, an interdimensional epic about the decisions we make, and how they affect our lives from all different perspectives and realities!
